About Me

This is my 29th year teaching 1st grade at Franklin School. First grade is my favorite grade!

I graduated college with a double major in elementary education and early childhood education.

My master's degree is in reading education.

As you can guess from my education, I love teaching little kids to read.


I love children's books because they combine art and stories, two of my favorite things.

Some of my favorite children's authors are Dr. Seuss, Mo Willems, Arnold Lobel and Eric Carle.
