Automatically installed on your child's Chromebook is the video calling app, Zoom. Teachers will provide synchronous learning, or live instruction, via Zoom. Students are provided a join link by their teacher to access Zoom calls. These join links are posted to Google Classroom, Seesaw, or student email. Students do not need, or have, a Zoom account. Simply click the link to join your teacher!

Do I need to install Zoom on my child's Chromebook?
No, Zoom as well as other District tech tools are pushed out by the Technology Department. Students cannot install any programs on the Chromebooks themselves.
Does my child need an account for Zoom?
No, students do not need an account to join Zoom calls with his/her teacher. On the Chromebook, simply click the join link provided by your teacher.
