From Seed to Harvest
Vertical Towers
These towers are connected to our aquaponics water and grow very happy plants!
We love to experiment with flowers in aquaponics as well as throw random seeds out into our flower beds. The flowers we grew were Gazania, Zinnia, varieties of sunflowers, Nasturtums, Pansies, Hollyhocks, etc. We also grew Gourds which could be dried out and turned into bird houses.

During the school year, we harvest our lettuce on Mondays. Our goal is to harvest 20 pounds per week and it takes 8 weeks for it to go from seed to harvest. We then sell and deliver this to GroFresh 365 and they distribute it for us. After we harvest, we plant new seeds and rotate the plants up through the system.
