Hello! We are so excited that you are going to be a part of Concurrent Enrollment!
To get started in Traditional Concurrent Enrollment or PPSC Career Start, you will need to complete the 4 Steps below by the deadlines for full consideration. It is critical that students complete these steps themselves. Read all of the notes associated with each steps as they will help guide you through the process.
Please note that all students are required to maintain Cs or better in order to be eligible for Concurrent Enrollment.
All grade levels are eligible to apply for Traditional Concurrent Enrollment.

Apply ASAP
Complete and submit the PPSC application. After this is done, you will receive an email in a few days with your PPSC S number. You will need this number for the next steps. Once you get your S number, proceed to the next step. If you apply after the due date, that is fine, you just may have to test at PPSC. The link to schedule that is found below.
Sign up to test at PPSC
Click on the button to set up a test time at PPSC. If you received a letter stating you have qualifying SAT/PSAT/AP scores you do not need to complete a placement test! Download your scores from College Board and proceed to step 3!
Currently on a waitlist for Fall 2026
Click the button above to get to the VRHS CE Application. This Application will require you to have Steps 1 and 2 completed. You must have placement scores in order to fill out this application!
Due 3/2/26 for Fall 2026
Sign up to attend the New CE Student and Parent Orientation. This is required for NEW CE Students. Individual/Cohort advising will begin after the orientation.
If you miss the sign up dates for the Accuplacer given at Vista Ridge, you can test at the testing center at Pikes Peak State College and then continue with STEP 3 in the application process. Please click on the link for more information. Take Accuplacer at a PPSC location
If you need accommodations/modifications for your future college classes, you will need to meet with the PPSC Accessibility Services Office. We are happy to provide more information/details regarding that during our Advising Appointment or if you send your counselor an email after your application has been completed.
