Grading/Instruction Expectations
Teachers update grades in PowerSchool each week by Thursday evening to reflect student progress on specific learning standards. At least two new grades are entered weekly. This helps students and parents clearly see what skills have been mastered and where more support is needed.
Students have two days to make up work for every day they are absent. Missing work will not impact grades unless that time has passed and there has been no communication from the student or parent.
Please understand that all official grades will be found in Powerschool and not Schoology.
Late Work/Absences Team Policy
Students have a 5-day window to turn in their work past the due date. After the 5th day we will not accept late work.
Exceptions can include students who are absent or have accommodations.
Late work that is turned in after 3 pm on Thursday will be graded and posted by the following Thursday evening.
Student athletes and participants in extracurricular activities are held to the same expectations as other students.
