Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Liz Peterson and this will be my 26th year at Anderson Elementary School. I’ve taught many grades throughout my time at Anderson including; first, third and fourth. This will be my 9th year in kindergarten. I graduated from ISU and continued on to get my masters degree in educational leadership from Aurora University. I have 3 kids of my own Will (17), Ben (15), and Emma (14). They keep my husband Jeff and I very busy hustling them to all their activities. We spend a lot of time as a family, going on bike rides, runs and walks with our 2 dogs, Walter and Matilda. I am very fond of being out doors, exercise, shopping and coffee. I cannot wait to meet the incoming kindergartners and their families. It’s going to be a great year full of fun and learning.

My name is Becky Wit. This will be my 16th year in the classroom and my 7th year in D303 teaching kindergarten. I hold a bachelor's degree from Taylor University and a Master's from Aurora University. I took a 12-year break from the classroom to be home with my 4 children. They are now ages 12 - 18, 7th grade through Junior, in Batavia this fall.  I will be sending my oldest son Isaac to college in the fall. My husband Steve is also in education, teaching science at Glenbard North. We have a four-year-old dog Roxy. I love traveling and spending time with my family, watching my kids' sports and activities which fills most of my free time. I can't wait to meet your child and help them feel safe and excited to learn together. 

I’m Monique Davis, one of the kindergarten teachers here at Anderson! Welcome to kindergarten! This is my first year at Anderson.  My husband and I have lived in St. Charles for the past 12 years and have three beautiful children, all in D303 schools.  I have taught preschool in the area for several years.  The older my own children became, the more I wanted to return to working full time.  I recently graduated with my Master’s in Early Childhood Education as well as my teaching license.  Last year was my first year teaching kindergarten, and I absolutely loved it! I am thrilled to join the team at Anderson and equally thrilled to partner with you and your family.  In my free time, I love to spend time with my family-traveling, playing board games, and simply being together.  I enjoy cooking and baking (when I have time), running, hiking, and reading.
