MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Cardunal Families,

It's hard to believe that it's already October.  The quarter is almost over, the official end is Thursday October 10th and then we have a 4 day weekend!  That means no school on Friday October 11th and Monday October 14th.  The month of October is bullying prevention awareness month and our student services department has some activities planned for our students and staff.  You can find the updates on their page in this newsletter.  A massive thanks to all the people that made Midnight Mile a possibility this year.  It was such a great event.  Thanks to Jenny Olson we have an official Midnight Mile video.  During the month of October we are wearing pink every Tuesday for breast cancer awareness and blue every Thursday for bullying prevention awareness.  We also have a spirit week for the end of the quarter which is below and we'll also be doing a full grade level celebrations.  We'll be ending the month of October with Fall Fest hosted by the Parent Association on October 24th.  More information to follow on that event.  Thank you every one for all that you do to make DMS a great place.  Go Cardunals!!!
