Honors Algebra 1
We have been working hard these first few weeks on solving equations and working together. The students are relating equations to real-life situations so they can practice their problem-solving skills. Students should have a TI30XIIS calculator and be bringing it to class.

Module 11: Students will work to identify and graph ordered pairs in all four quadrants on a coordinate plane. The X axis is always identified first in a coordinate pair (3, 5). Vocabulary: coordinate plane, x-axis, y-axis, origin, quadrant, ordered pair, x-coordinate, y-coordinate, and rational number when describing points on a coordinate plane.
