E.T. The Extra Terrestrial

This movie came out when I was a kid and it was a smash hit. EVERYONE saw it and loved it. It's a story of an extra-terrestrail, ET, who gets left on Earth. He' befriends a boy named Elliot who helps him.  The two have  strong connection and when ET gets sick so does Elliot. ET needs to get home before both of them die...

It always reminds me of the time spent with my younger brother. When we were little and this song would come on the radio, we would switch the lyrics from "I don't want to wait for my life to be over" to "I don't want to wait for my breakfast to get colder". We would yell it as loud as we could with the car windows down and laugh. It is always such a good memory to think back on whenever I hear this song play!

"Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl" is a fantastic claymation film released on Netflix in early January 2025. This is the sixth film that focuses on Wallace, a kind, cheese-obsessed inventor, and his brilliant pet dog, Gromit. In this movie, Wallace's latest invention, a helpful robotic garden gnome named "Norbot," is turned against him by none other than the penguin criminal mastermind "Feathers McGraw" who is set on getting his revenge against Wallace & Gromit for foiling his plans to steal a diamond.

The film is a masterclass in stop-motion and clay animation. It is a quick watch and fun for all ages. Pay close attention to how the directors use every trick in their bag to show Feathers McGraw's thoughts, motivations, and feelings with a lack of facial expression the character features.
