Course Overview:
This course is designed to support parents in our D214 community by providing tools and resources to enhance their understanding about technology use and applications. There are six units in this course. "Students" are welcome to move through the various units at their own pace. Each unit contains readings, videos and a reflection assignment. We encourage you to go through each unit and complete the reflection form. Those who complete all reflections will receive a certificate of completion and their names will be presented to the Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. David Schuler.

Gabriella Stetz Jackson: gabriella.stetz@d214.org - District 214
Gabriella has been with District 214 for 19 years. She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Teaching & Learning. She has developed and taught two graduate level courses on "Teaching with Technology" that have been taken by teachers across District 214 through Internal University. After spending years supporting students and teachers, Gabriella is excited to turn her attention to supporting the parent community as well!
Laura Monahan: laura.monahan@d214.org - John Hersey High School
Laura has been with District 214 for 18 years. In her current position, she serves as the Teaching and Learning Facilitator for Hersey, as well as a World Languages teacher. She has taught courses for Internal University and has presented to District parents at the Woodfield Apple Store location.
