Transcripts

Official transcripts can be sent beginning the week of September 6.

Of all the factors considered in the college application process, the high school transcript is the one that carries the most weight. Each college determines the way in which they want to receive your transcript.

Parchment Transcript Order System

An official high school transcript may be required by colleges, scholarship organizations, employers, the military, etc. either during high school or in the future. Parchment is the transcript order system used by District 214 students and alumni to request official transcripts.

Follow THESE INSTRUCTIONS to register for your Parchment account.

Refer to this Parchment video for instructions on ordering transcripts and monitoring when transcripts are sent/received by a college.

How to Print Your Unofficial Transcript

Unofficial transcripts are often accepted for scholarships and admission at some colleges.

To access your unofficial transcript:

Types of Transcripts

Initial Transcript: Transcript with grades for all semesters completed when you apply (usually through junior year if you apply in fall of senior year).

Mid-Year Transcript: Transcript with first semester senior year grades.

Final Transcript: Transcript with all senior year grades and proof of graduation.

Unofficial Transcript: Transcript that a student can download and send on their own. This is not sent from a school official but is still accepted for scholarships and some college admissions.

How to Send Quarter Grades

Some colleges require a quarter grade report. Since these are not official grades, they cannot be sent through Parchment.

How to Send a MID YEAR TRANSCRIPT

Some colleges require a mid-year report, mid-year transcript or seventh semester grades.

How to Send a FINAL TRANSCRIPT

All colleges require a final transcript. This includes your senior year grades and proof of graduation.

Dual Credit Transcripts

You will need to send a transcript from each of the colleges where you have received dual credit to the college where you enroll. Some colleges may ask for these dual credit transcripts when you apply.
