I am a Fremd High School graduate! After high school, I attended Ball State University, where I received a B.S. in Interior Design. After designing kitchens and baths for 3 years, I went to Northern Illinois University and got my teaching certification and landed back at Fremd.

This is my 27th year teaching and my 23rd year running the Little Vikes Preschool. I enjoy helping high school students find there passion in the field of education. I also coordinate the education internship, where students can continue in the education pathway by working with a high school, middle school or elementary teacher every day!

I live in Grayslake, IL with my husband Chris. We have two daughters, Mackenzie (19) who attends the University of South Carolina and Lauren (17) who is a senior in high school. We have a Goldendoodle named Jack (6) that keeps us entertained and busy.
