Hours

An NHS hour can be logged only from opportunities that we offer to members. This can be found in the Service Events page on this website.

A Non-NHS hour comes from an opportunity that we do not offer that you find on your own.

• • • • • • Ex: Volunteering at local food pantry

All hours should be logged within two weeks of completing service except for those mentioned below:

• • • Environmental club- log every 2 weeks (NHS or Non-NHS)

    • Link Crew- log every two weeks

      • • *Please note required Link Crew events such as Freshman Orientation do not count as service opportunities. 

          • • • Examples of acceptable Link Crew Submissions are volunteering for Freshman Transition presentations any other events that are not required.

    •  Sports Managing- Log at end of season (10 hours)

      • • Must have coach confirmation via email or a written note

    • Pass Runners- End of Semester

    • Library Helper- End of Semester(10 hours)

      • • Must be reliable and consistent, checking in at least 3 times a week

        • Must have confirmation from librarian via email or written note

    • Stage Managing- End of Production(10 hours)

    • Athletic Training- End of semester(10 hours)
