Welcome to the Stevenson High School family! We understand that the transition to high school can be filled with excitement and concern, but please know—we’ve got this! Our highly experienced Special Education Department, with a proven track record of supporting students, is here to guide you and your child every step of the way, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.

We have already started articulation; our teams are working closely with the 8th-grade staff to plan for a smooth transition to Stevenson High School. This is a critical time as we gather names, emails, and all the essential information to ensure your child’s successful transition to SHS.

Your child will go through the transition process with all other incoming students. Additionally, our teams will take extra care to regularly meet and discuss your child’s strengths and areas for growth. We will work closely with you to make informed decisions about course selection, ensuring that your child’s needs and aspirations are at the forefront of our planning and that you are an integral part of this process. Your input is highly valued and will shape your child's high school experience.
