Honors Band Projects

The students were given the opportunity to explore their creativity with an open-ended band project. Through this project, each student created a SMART Goal and made steps toward accomplishing their goal.(All students whose projects are below have agreed to have their projects shared with a wider audience)

Natalie Altenhoff (Patrick Altenhoff & Steffen Brown)

Record and mix holiday trios.

Maddy Aquino, Amelie DeShazer, Anna Lundquist, Leila Moon, Isabel Sioson, Ciara West

Arrange, record, edit, create video of holiday tunes.

Andrea Delara

Created a cover of the song The Rain and changed the overall style of the song.

Tress Dorfler

Perform and record the second movement of Sonata for Oboe by Camille Saint-Saens .

Hannah Earich (Abbie Catania)

Transpose and arrange music from Avatar: The Last Airbender. The final product is the music accompanying scenes from the movie.

Ryan Escobar

Arrange, perform, and record Pas de Deux from Tchaikovsy's The Nutcracker.

Marcus Gallegos, Emily Navarrete, & Quentin Wright

Arrange/record Soul Bossa Nova and sync with video from Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.
