What classes do I need? The pre-degree core requirements, also known as foundation courses are Drawing I, 3-D Design, 2-D Design, 2-D Digital Design, Art History and Visual Literacy. Your classes depends on the specific degree you go into, but the documents for the degree are linked here.

While there are PhDs in the Arts fields, in Studio and Graphic Design the terminal degree is an M.F.A. However, many arts-related jobs only require a B.F.A. or B.A. Both the B.F.A. and B.A. plans prepare students for admission into M.F.A. degree programs.
