REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Project Details:
You must register your project by Thursday, April 24th, by clicking the button above unless your professor has given you different instructions.
Only one person needs to register for the Showcase and upload your project. Coordinate with your project team members. You will receive a copy of your responses via email after you submit your registration.
You may be submitting posters, displays, or both. Please choose the response that matches your assigned project.
If you need a table, electricity, etc, for your display, you may enter that in the registration.
Project Authors
Include the names of all student authors and any others who have contributed to the project (except your professor's name - you will indicate their participation separately.)
Refer to your professor's instructions for how to list student authors' names for the purposes of the program (e.g. alphabetically, etc)
Poster Details:
Poster printing costs will be covered by the SCSE Dean's Office and SAIL Funding.
All posters MUST be uploaded using the link above by Thursday, April 24th, at 11:59 pm to ensure time for printing.
Poster File Format
Poster files will only be accepted in PDF format.
Poster File Names - Required!
If your course is taught by Professor Kruchten and the student uploading the poster is named Carrie Misuraco, use the following format for naming your poster file:
ProfessorLastName_StudentLastName
so from the example the filename should be...
Kruchten_Misuraco.PDF
Poster Size
When opened in a document viewer such as Acrobat, ensure the poster document properties are no larger than 24" x 36" (vertical or horizontal orientations are both accepted). In Acrobat click "File" and then "Document Properties" for this information.
Make sure your poster is not unintentionally set at 8.5"x11" (a standard piece of paper size.). If this is the case, one likely problem is that you SAVED your original powerpoint or other file to a PDF and instead should have EXPORTED your file to a PDF. Try again by exporting to a PDF and then re-check in Acrobat.

Logos for Posters
You can choose to use an SCSE UMD logo or a logo from the UMPR page. You must follow all institutional policies about UofM logo use. This information is found on the UMPR website.
