If you want to observe phenology but are not interested in committing to one of our nature trails, you can set up your own!

Setting up your own trail that is part of the Lake Superior Phenology Network

We are always looking for folks who want to make their own trails in our network. If you want to make your own trail:

  • Choose at least one species from our list of focal species .

  • Locate plants of this/these species at a site you regularly visit. Ideally, you should have four individuals of each species.

  • Set up your own trail by referencing the National Phenology Network website.

  • Let us know about your trail!
