Boulder Lake is an environmental learning center where people of all ages come to explore nature. We are monitoring two trails (1) Island trail near the learning center building and (2) Bear Paw trail.
Bagley Nature Area is a multiple use area owned by UMD where students and visitors can walk, cross country ski, and enjoy nature. Our nature trail loops around Rock Pond at the center of Bagley.
You can easily access the phenology trail on the Duluth Lake Walk from pedestrian bridge that crosses into Leif Erikson Park. Our trail meaders down the Lake Walk revealing beautiful vistas of Lake Superior.
