Be part of a local community of dedicated volunteers that track the seasons by observing how plants change over time. We do this by recording the timing (or phenology) of major events in our local floral like leaf out and flowering along three nature trails.

Phenology workshop
Bagley classroom
May 31st, 1-4pm
During the workshop, we will talk about phenology, the timing of changes in nature, and learn how to record your observations using the app Nature's Notebook. We will talk about how you can do everything from monitoring plants in your backyard to participating in a local community science project on Lake Superior Forests! We try out our newly found knowledge during a nature walk at Bagley Nature Area. This workshop is for anyone, novices and experienced phenology observers. Feel free to join us if you are new to phenology or whether you regularly make observations using Nature's Notebook or other apps.
