Terms and conditions of entry

By entering this competition, you agree that you have read, understand and agree to these terms and conditions.

· To be eligible to enter this competition, you must be…

o Enrolled at a New Zealand primary, intermediate or secondary school

o part of a home school programme

o New Zealand student and a resident of New Zealand.

· All entries must be created by the student and not have outside influence, such as:

o code taken from the internet

o Mum or Dad’s contribution, they can give you moral support

o Other adult help. The work is to be YOURS!

· All entries must be made through our Flipgrid page.

All videos will be kept private and will only viewed by the organisers and judges of the competition

All videos entered must have a G rating and be appropriate for any viewer, including younger children.

There is to be no:

• swearing or inappropriate language

• images or other content that will offend

Please be sensitive to other contestant’s culture and backgrounds.

Cyclone has the right to remove any video that is deemed inappropriate.

· All entries must be completed by the competition end date (1st October) at 5pm. Any entry entered after this date and time will not be considered.

The promoters of this competition staff of Cyclone and Microsoft or their immediate family members may not enter this competition.

Competitions are drawn at Cyclone Limited or via Microsoft Teams. This decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be notified within 10 days by phone and/or email. Cyclone and Microsoft have the right to publish the winner’s name, town/city, along with their photograph for promotional purposes.

By entering this competition, Cyclone and Microsoft have the right to use your worlds for promotional purpose. Cyclone will acknowledge the builder.

We accept no responsibility or liability for the prize after the winner is drawn.

We reserve the right to amend a competition at our discretion.

By entering a competition, the entrant consents to us collecting personal information for the purposes of administering the Competition, notifying and announcing the winner(s) and of marketing partners products and services, including by direct marketing techniques. We may disclose the entrant’s personal information to third parties, including those involved in the administration of the Competition, notifying and announcing the winners, the supply of prizes, marketing companies, database collators and website servers. If the entrant does not provide the required personal information to us, the entrant cannot enter the Competition. The entrant may access and correct the personal information about the entrant held by us by contacting Cyclone on the competition Contact Form.

Prices shown on products included as prizes in promotions are Recommended Retail Price and may be different to what is shown in stores.

Prize must be redeemed in full, and is only valid once. It is not redeemable for cash in whole or part, cannot be extended, is non-transferable, is non-refundable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

Neither Cyclone, Microsoft or any other person or party associated with the Competition shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect and/or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in the promotion or with any prizes offered.
