The CWC invites qualified individuals to be nominated as part of our commitment to promoting and protecting the rights and welfare of Filipino children. Below is the comprehensive process for nomination and selection:
1. The CWC Secretariat will publicly announce the Call for Nominations through online platforms and partner networks. The announcement will include submission guidelines, required documentation, and deadlines. Interested individuals or organizations must submit nominations within thirty (30) calendar days from the announcement date. Submissions may be sent electronically or via mail to the designated CWC Secretariat office.
2. Upon receipt, the CWC Secretariat will screen all applications for completeness and compliance with eligibility requirements. Qualified nominations will be endorsed to the Selection Committee, which will review and shortlist candidates based on established criteria. All shortlisted nominees will be notified within two (2) weeks after the submission deadline.
3. Shortlisted individuals will undergo a final interview and assessment by the Selection Committee. Evaluation will focus on the nominee’s:
Expertise and experience in child rights, welfare, and advocacy
Alignment with the vision and mission of the CWC
Ability to contribute meaningfully to Board discussions and policymaking
4. The Selection Committee will then submit final recommendations to the Chairperson of the CWC Board for endorsement to the Office of the President. A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) nominees will be endorsed for final consideration.
