My first year in the TADA Academy
I drew Cleo DeNile from Monster High and Homer Simpson from The Simpsons.
I drew Cleo DeNile from Monster High. I used curved lines for Cleo's hair lines. Color for the whole drawing to make it look like the character. I used the color blue and yellow for the outfit and jewels. Brown and yellow for the hair. Plus, red for the character's lipstick. The positive space in my drawing is Cleo.
Haunted Hallway Project
I describe my haunted hallway with patterns on the walls and floor. My inspiration for my drawing was an Ice cream shop from Stranger Things. The patterns that are on the walls, I used straight lines. I used blue and red colored patterns on the walls. I used contrast with the color white on the walls and black lines to show contours.
My vision of the T-shirt design represents TADA by showing that it represents Technical Arts and Design Academy. I drew this design because it represents TADA. Which mostly means that TADA is about drawing, painting, and designing. My inspiration was the school logo. I turned the mascot into something that represents TADA. I used curved lines on the Cougar's whiskers and used the color black to draw them. I used emphasis on the cougar and used contrast with the color black on the t-shirt and white on the eyes and teeth.
A portrait is a realistic sketch of someone. Most likely it's going to be a person. I chose Selena for my drawing because she's my favorite female music artist and she inspired many people worldwide. I used curvy lines on Selena's eyebrows and her lips. I used the colors black and white in my drawing. I mostly used black on the background and Selena's lips, eyes, and eyebrows. Mostly the details and shading. The emphasis of my drawing is Selena, she is the main part. My sketch also includes Contrast, like the colors and shading. The white on the drawing goes to the grey shading then black.
I got the idea from 2 songs from a music artist that I listen to. The songs were called El Caballo Blanco & Camino De Guanajuato. Both songs were based on a true story. They were written by Jose Alfredo Jimenez. I mixed the song titles and came up with El Caballo Blanco de Guanajuato. The 3 guys on the horses are famous music artists from back then. Featuring Jorge Negrete, Pedro Infante, and Vicente Fernandez. The picture takes place in Guanajuato, and they're trying to catch a white horse. I wanted the sketch to be unique, so it's based on 3 very popular Hispanic singers that came from different parts of Mexico. They all are wearing outfits de charro. My sketch includes multiple colors, and the form is the characters, horses, and plants.
I chose Vapereon from Pokémon Go. My image shows Pop Culture because people collect Pokémon Cards and play the game. Some Pokémon cards have become rare and worth money. My favorite color scheme is monochromatic because it's fun when you add a tint of black or white to the color you chose for your art piece. On my digital color theory project there are curvy lines on the fins of Vaporeon. There is also the color used on all 4 images including the background—colors like blue, yellow, and red. My art includes emphasis because the main attraction is Vaporeon. It also includes contrast because I used complementary colors of yellow and violet within one of my images.
The Pokémon card that I painted was Zigzagoon. The landscape I painted included a lot of plants. Such as leaves, flowers, and grass. My peers suggested that I should add more long pieces of grass and detail the sky more so I did. My painting includes curvy lines on the long pieces of grass and my painting includes colors like green, blue, brown, and white. My painting shows emphasis because the background is the main piece of my painting besides the Pokémon. My painting shows a pattern in the sky because of the clouds, there are multiple clouds in the sky.
