Prom 2021
In order to keep everyone safe and to abide by health protocols, this year's prom will be an all-district hybrid model including an interactive zoom and a drivethrough experience. Watch the video to see the Lawndale, Leuzinger, and Hawthorne senior boards reveal your 2021 theme. Prom will take place on Saturday, May 22nd.
Zoom
This is not more class time! This is a fun, interactive, two hour zoom hosted by a professional DJ. Breakout rooms will have live dealers teaching you casino games and other activities. Win prizes and find out your prom Royalty! The zoom call will start at 5:30 pm on 5/22 (link emailed to ticket holders by Erik Hendricks)
Drive-through
Drive through the Starry Night Experience complete with lights, music, and photo ops! The drive through will start at 8:00 pm on 5/22. All ticket holders chose a time. Please refer to your car windshield pass for your exact appointment.
Cost
While prom tickets normally cost over $100, the CVUHSD school board has agreed to fund the vast majority of this event (worth over $20,000). Tickets will be $20 and will include a photo package.
Driver Map
Please note: Student participants may not drive themselves for the drive-through portion!
All cars must enter through the Marine entrance leading to the CVUHSD District Office at 14901 S. Inglewood Ave., Lawndale, CA 90260
Windshield pass must be displayed in the driver side window.
Students with tickets may exit the car in designated areas. Masks are required everywhere except designated photo spots.
Chauffeurs will be directed to parking at Lawndale High School lots to wait for students to exit the picture section.
Prom Court ⭐
We are proud to present this year's 2021 Prom Court. Two members of the court will be crowned as Prom Royalty on Saturday 5/22 (announced during the zoom portion, crowned at the drive-through). Seniors may vote on Thursday, May 20th between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Click here to vote.

You are expected to wear a mask everywhere except in front of the cameras at the photo stations
Zoom links will be emailed to you shortly before the prom. If you do not get a link, please email hendrickse@cvuhsd.org
Photos are limited to two people per photo MAX but you are welcome and encouraged to take solo pictures. Please follow COVID-safety protocols if you choose to be photographed with a second person.
Live stream
We will be live streaming from the Red Carpet at prom. ACA will provide Red Carpet correspondants to provide you with full coverage. Click here for the link to view.
Music Survey
We will have a live DJ in both the zoom portion and the drive-through portion. We want to make sure it's music you want to hear. Fill out the music survey by May 7th to let us know your favorite tunes.
Tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase from the student store. NOTE: An appoinment is no longer required. Student Store is open from 1:00 - 4:00 pm Limited spots are available. Priority tickets are reserved for those that came to the prom reveal google meet. Please bring $20 cash to purchase your ticket at the student store (check in at the front office where you will be asked to do a health screening).
