Senior Activities Eligibility Q&A

To participate in Senior Activities you must STAY OFF the “No-Go List”


How do I AVOID the “No-Go List”?

The “No-Go List” is updated every 5 weeks

A) You must have NO more than 30 unexcused absences within a semester (no more than 8 unexcused period absences in the first 5 weeks)

B) You must have NO more than 7 unexcused period tardies in a 5-week period

C) You must have NO more than 2 Citizenship "U" grades on the 5-week progress report

D) You CANNOT be tagged as "Behavioral No-Go" in PowerSchool due to discipline reports or suspensions

What happens if I am on the “No-Go List”?

If you are on the “No-Go List” you CANNOT purchase your senior activities ticket(s) (prom, grad night) and you CANNOT participate in the senior activities.


What happens if I purchase my senior activities ticket(s) (prom, grad night) and END UP on the “No-Go List”?

If you purchase your senior activities ticket(s) (prom, grad night) and END UP on the “No-Go List,” you MUST complete a Petition for No Go Removal. Otherwise, you will NOT be eligible to participate in the senior activity and will not be refunded.


Can I earn my way off the “No-Go List”?

You can PETITION to earn your way off the “No-Go List.” Meet with Ms. Hernandez (A-129) to determine if you qualify for a Petition for No Go Removal (these will be determined on a case-by-case basis)


When is the deadline to earn my way off the “No-Go List”?

The DEADLINE for a Petition for No Go Removal will be May 1st. However, it is not guaranteed.


If I end up on the “No-Go List” can I be refunded for my senior activities ticket(s)?

The Student Store has a NO REFUND policy! If you purchase your senior activities ticket(s) and are on the No-Go List there will be NO REFUND or exchange. In this case, meet with Ms. Hernandez (A-129) for a Petition for No Go Removal.
