Attend the Prom Informational Court Meeting on Friday, April 19th during lunch in the ASB room (N-106) if you are interested in running for Prom Court. 

Complete the online application. 

You need to submit your application by Monday, April 29th

Voting will take place Friday before Prom! 

Regardless of your gender identity, you may run for the title of your choice. 

Check out the presentation that we went over during the meeting that holds all of the information to run a succesful campaing. 

Let us know what songs & music you want the DJ to play at the dance.

Dress Code:

• Formal wear

• If you are in need of a dress, please see Ms. Fuentes or email her (fuentesb@cvuhsd.org)

• Make sure you are following the dress code guidelines that are found in the Dance Contract you signed.

• Students & guests must wear shoes at all times.

• If you have questions concerning your clothing, seek prior approval from Ms. Fuentes, Mr. Hendricks, Mr. Thedford, Ms. Ramirez, and Ms. Yang. If you arrive in clothing not appropriate, you run the risk of not being allowed to enter.

  • If you are bringing a guest from another school, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make them aware of our dress code policy.

FAQ:

• Arrive by 8:30pm to the venue. NO CHECK-INs after 9pm.

• Parking is FREE if you are planning on taking your car. 

• There will be a breathalyzer & metal detectors at prom.

• Small clutch purses are allowed but larger purses and backpacks are not.

  • ALL bags are subject to search.

• Bring your ID & your guest's ID.

• Bring money if you wish to purchase professional photo packages.

• Bring a sweater in case you get cold because prom will take place outside. 

• Once a student and/or guest leaves the venue, he/she/they will not be permitted to re-enter. 

• In case of an emergency, staff, security, or administrators can accompany a student(s) to and from his/her/them car.
