Tickets: 4 tickets
Kids 5 and under DO NOT need a ticket.
Extra tickets will NOT be sold.
RED Cap & Gown will be distributed during senior activities week
Graduation Dos & Don'ts & Senior Festival: Monday, June 3rd at 8:30am
Graduation Practice & Senior Breakfast: Tuesday, June 4th at 9:00am
Graduation Day: Graduates are expected to be in their cap & gowns in their respected gyms at 12:30pm on June 5th.
Graduation Rules & Regulations
Remember: Graduation is a formal and respectful event. Family and friends should abide by our school rules. Please be respectful of all graduates and their families.
The following items are NOT allowed during the ceremony:
Balloons, beach balls, silly string, confetti, glitter, or laser pens
Bags or purses exceeding 4.5 in. x 6 in.
Signs, banners, or placards that blocked other guests' views
Bullhorns, air horns, or any artificial noise makers
Umbrellas
Fireworks or weapons of any kind
Non-service animals
Monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks
Additional Graduation Information:
HHS is a drug and alcohol free campus - no smoking allowed
There will be NO RE-ENTRY
Pictures must be taken from your seat in the audience.
A professional photographer was hired to cover the event. Make sure you subscribe to their website to view the photos. See below on how to subscribe.
We want to make sure everyone has an enjoyable graduation experience. You will not be able to enter the field with these items.

Cap Decoration
Color: Cap & Gown is RED
Distribution: June 3rdth during Senior Festival
Size: your cap is 9.5X9.5
You may decorate your cap for graduation. It is extremely important that you AVOID anything that is inappropriate. Don't decorate it with inappropriate items or words that may cost you participating in the graduation ceremony.
When you decorate your cap, keep the following items in mind:
Show pride of your accomplishments
Demonstrate LEAPS
No more than 2" tall
What if I didn't order a cap & gown?
Extra cap & gowns were ordered, you will get one that's closest to your size.
Can I decorate my gown?
No.
Also, NO FLAGS are allowed to be wrapped around your gown.
Can I wear my own cords and sashes?
No.
The only cords and sashes allowed are the ones given to you by school or a club.
If you wear one that wasn't school approved, it will be taken away from you and you can retrieve it the next day.
Parking
Note: The following information is subject to change.
It is advised for you to park according to where your student will be seated.
M-Gate will be open.
D-Gate will be open.
Make sure you park according to the color of your ticket:
a Scarlet ticket to park on the East Parking Lot to enter
a Black ticket to park on the West Parking Lot to enter.
Parking is not available by the Hawthorne Community Pool and the Coast Fitness lot; your vehicle would be subject to tow.
The main entrance to the school WILL NOT be open.
Graduation Ceremony will start at 3pm. Gates will open to those with tickets at 2:15pm.
Graduates are expected to be in their respected gyms by 12:30pm. Graduates can enter through the office.
Diploma Pick-Up
Note: The following information is subject to change.
Graduates will receive their actual diploma after graduation once all fees are cleared.
Your diploma will be available for pick up in the Main Office from 9am - 11am; 1pm to 3pm
