Jasmine Maake is a former Lawndale Alumni that excelled in both Honors and AP classes. She is currently attending California State University Long Beach as a Mathematics major with a minor in Economics. Jasmine thrived in various high school clubs, including Link Krew, AVID, and many others. Jasmine spent a summer in Japan and loves music.
Jocelyn De Alba is a First Generation college student attending El Camino College and transferring to California State University Long Beach with a major in Mathematics with an emphasis in Education. She was a top 10% high school student with multiple Honors and AP classes. Always broadening her horizons, Jocelyn has taken courses in multiple subjects and has an affinity for all things coffee-related.
Starting out her journey at El Camino College, Lucia Vazquez received her A.A. before moving onto California State University Dominguez Hills. She received her bachelor's with honors in English Education and is now pursuing her master's degree in English Literature at her alma mater. She has taken various English courses and studies all types of Literature. Lucy enjoys good lattes and great book recommendations.
Monica is a former Lawndale Alumni who attended El Camino College and eventually transferred to California State University Los Angeles. Graduating with a B.S. with honors in Criminal Justice, she plans to work in fingerprinting or as a Crime Scene Investigator. Now expanding her horizon, she is taking courses at Fullerton College in Cybersecurity.
Muhammad started at El Camino College and transferred to Cal State Dominguez Hills where he earned his Bachelor's in English Literature. He aspires to be teaching overseas, but wants to first make a positive impact within his community. He likes to play basketball and read in his free time.
