According to Republic Act No. 1425 all public and private schools, colleges and universities in the Philippines must include Dr. Jose Rizal’s life and works in the curriculum. This was signed by President Ramon Magsaysay on June 12, 1956, which later on known as Rizal Law. It aims to share the ideology of Rizal when it comes to the youth and give enlightenment to the Filipinos to be dedicated to the country.
