We have designated time in our schedule every morning for adults to collaborate, reflect, plan, and breathe before our students arrive. This is a way to honor the importance of both structured and unstructured time to our profession, and helps ensure that teachers have more discretion and control over their own planning blocks. Department and faculty meetings happen in the afternoon as they have in the past, and some committees may meet after school.

Every Monday, co-advisors meet to preview the week, to check in about upcoming advisory needs or responsibilities, and to see how they can support each other. Coordinators and administrators are available to answer questions, share ideas, or troubleshoot.
We are all a part of many teams. Twice a week, teachers have the time to meet with their colleagues to learn, plan, reflect, share, and discuss. Coordinators and department directors are available to support teams during this time, and offer optional workshops related to common needs or interests.
Once a week, we'll meet in Engage Teams, where we will work together to build community, increase efficiency, and better support all of our students. The Engage Teams have three specific purposes: adult learning and support, advisory planning and support, advisee monitoring and support.
Every Friday morning, adults will gather virtually or in person to hear about the week ahead and to discuss timely and relevant topics. This time allows our community to come together to celebrate, reflect, and connect around our common purpose.
