In order to thrive in today's increasingly complex and information-rich society, students must possess effective technological skills. Digital tools play a pivotal role in shaping students into adept information and media users, astute analyzers and evaluators, and proficient problem solvers and decision-makers. By harnessing productivity tools creatively and efficiently, students can evolve as skilled communicators, collaborative team players, innovative publishers, and knowledgeable producers. Moreover, these abilities cultivate informed, responsible, and active citizens.

Within our school district, we ensure that all staff and students have access to network and internet services, along with desktop computers, Chromebooks, projectors or displays, and printers. We proudly utilize Google's Enterprise Applications for Education, granting students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 access to secure domain email accounts and various other Google tools.

Aligned with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards, both students and educators work towards fulfilling specific goals. Students are empowered to become learners who confidently embrace technology and are responsible digital citizens, knowledge builders, innovative designers, computational thinkers, creative communicators, and global collaborators.

At CVSD Schools, we are committed to harnessing technology to drive data-driven planning, teaching, and learning. We firmly believe that thoughtfully integrating appropriate technology, while adhering to ethical and efficient practices, is integral to fulfilling the district's mission. Our dedication extends to ensuring our students' success in a digital world, where we prioritize the explicit teaching of digital citizenship. Social awareness, accountability for actions and learning in both real and digital realms, and adeptness in using technology responsibly are essential aspects of their development.
