Stay up to date!
Reboot or Powerwash a device fixes many glitches. How to Reboot & Powerwash a Chromebook
If you've updated your Chromebook and Powerwashed it, and continue to have concerns about the device you are using ( it won't start, camera doesn't work, etc.), please use this Helpdesk Form and someone will be in touch with you soon. To receive the quickest support, it's important to enter as much of the the information as possible in the helpdesk form.
Please do not email anyone in IT to request help as the department all works together and uses the Helpdesk system to respond to requests and needs as a team.
When questions arise about how to do something or with the accounts you are using, logging in, passwords (Google, IXL, Seesaw, and others), please reach out to Tim O'Leary, Virtual Learning Academy's Digital Learning Leader: toleary@cvsdvt.org or by phone at (802) 985-3331 Ext. 259.
CVSD Guidelines For Families: Online Meetings, Updated August 2020
Headsets: We strongly encourage each student to use a headset during video conferences. This allows students to better hear their classmates. And, clarity in sound increases the accuracy of computers to translate sound into Closed Captions for individuals with hearing impairments or who otherwise benefit from this option. We appreciate your help in making our digital spaces more accessible to all.
If you do not have a headset and would like one, please request one from your homeroom/advisory teacher.
If a student/family still needs to pick up a Chromebook, they should contact their school's main office and tell them a time they will come by and pick it up. Chromebooks should be labeled and in the main office area.
