Wind Ensemble

Wind Ensemble is the premier Wind Band at UHS. This group is for the student who wants to push themselves and play higher level repertoire. Students who are involved in Wind Ensemble perform at concerts, events, and festivals. They have many performance opportunities and are strongly encouraged to take part in Fall Marching Band and Titan Pep Band.

Required Materials:

• Working instrument! It is important you have a working instrument daily. If you need an instrument from the school, please speak with Mr. Newbill

• All Instrument accessories: Reeds, neck strap, valve oil, cork grease. Go to a local music shop for recommendations, or ask Mr. Newbill!

• Pencil: Important for marking music daily in class.

• 3 Ring Binder: Important for any sort of warm up packets/pep music/theory work.
