Coaches Clearance

The following MUST be completed before the FIRST day of practice (unless otherwise stated) for that sports season:

WIAA RULES TEST:

You will take the following tests:
- - - First Aid/CPR
    - General Rules Clinic (complete prior to third week of the season each year)
    - Sport Specific Rules Clinic (complete prior to third week of the season each year)
    - WIAA Concussion Management Clinic
    - Sudden Cardiac Arrest
Some of you may have completed portions of this with other sports you coach. You will know when you log in (check with your building AD or Head Coach if you do not know your user ID or password)
You DO NOT NEED to print off certificates. The AD can access all certificates online.

First Aid/CPR Card

You DO NEED to provide a copy of both to your building AD
Check with your building trainer or district office for class offerings or test out opportunities

Volunteer Coaches

All of the following must be completed before any volunteer is on the court, field or classroom with students:

a. If you wish to have a volunteer coach, be sure to complete the Volunteer Coach Application. All volunteer coaches must meet the same W.I.A.A. coaching standards requirements as paid coaches including a current first aid/CPR card.

b. All volunteer coaches must be fingerprinted at their own expense.

c. Turn in the completed forms to activities coordinator to be placed on file.
