Middle School---Grades 6-8
6th grade
Color Coding for the folders: ELA-Orange, Math-Red, Science-Green, Social Studies-Blue
For all classes- 1 box of tissues for Homeroom, pencils, several good erasers (pink pearl), wide ruled 3-ring notebook paper, scissors (7 inch size are best), crayons (small box), colored pencils, highlighters, pencil case/pouch, HEADPHONES/EARBUDS
English- folder (2 pocket, orange), sticky notes
English or Math with Ms. Riforgiat- composition notebook
Social Studies- 2 pocket blue folder
Math- folder (2 pocket, red), pencils
Science- folder (2 pocket, green), green composition book (at least 100 pages)
Agriculture 6- small notebook, pencils, markers, folder
Art 6- pencils, erasers, lined paper and a folder, handheld pencil sharpener
Music 6- recorder with German Fingering preferred (*Optional- if you do not wish to purchase your own recorder, one will be provided to you), pencil, folder
Band 6- Students provide their own instrument and cleaning rods/brushes. Instruments are usually rented from a local music store, unless specific arrangements are made with Mrs. Zenns at school regarding one of the larger school instruments to borrow. You will be provided with the Essential Elements book and/or technique book for your instrument, solo repertoire, several pieces of sheet music, and a band folder from the school, in addition to reeds and other supplies needed.
