Financial Aid

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. Any student, regardless of family income, who wants to be considered for federal, NYS, and school financial aid (colleges applied to) grants, work-study, scholarships and loans, should complete the application.

CVCS Community Sponsored Scholarships

We have a number of scholarships that are sponsored by the Cassadaga Valley  and surrounding communities. Notices of these scholarships will be distributed to students as they become available by the high school counselor. 

Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Scholarship - local chapter

• Application materials can be found in the CV Middle/High School Counseling Office. The deadline for submission is November 7, 2025.

NYS & National Scholarships

Additional scholarships will be added as they become available.

• Leonard Bus Sales "A Day in the Life of a School Bus" Scholarship Competition - The deadline for electronic submission is October 13, 2025.

• Elks National Foundation, Inc. - Most Valuable Student Scholarship - The deadline is November 12, 2025.

• Elks National Foundation, Inc. - Legacy Award  - The deadline is February 2, 2026.

• The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial Scholarship - Applications will be reviewed periodically throughout the academic year. 

• Aid to Native Americans - Open year round.
