CVUSD grades 6-12 use an integrated approach for math - meaning students will learn a bit of algebra, geometry, probability, data, and statistics at each grade level from Math 6 through Integrated 3 (or Integrated 3A). Whether students accelerate in middle school, high school, or neither, they will have access to the upper high school level math courses, grouped in the bold boxes below.
Students looking to receive credit for math courses taken outside of their primary CVUSD school site will need to receive approval for the course prior to taking the course.
High school level math courses taken during middle school, for UC/CSU college entrance, MUST be taken during the student's 7th or 8th grade year, as well as MUST appear on the student's middle school official transcripts.
