Many people who want electric bikes are held back by prices averaging $2,000. An electric bike that can be made by repurposing car parts is not only a cheaper and more accessible alternative, but is also environmentally friendly. It also allows people to move around without the reliance on having a car or even other drivers like your parents.
We found that electric bikes emit 40 to 140 times fewer pounds of greenhouse gases than a car, making it very environmentally friendly. We also found around 27 million cars are recycled each year, 12 million of those cars coming from the US, and the parts are sold to buyers.
