Your AP Art Show installation will look something like this:
artwork arranged in several rows
artist statement with your large name on the top-left of your display
neatly trimmed plaques underneath each artwork on the left
a clean "gutter" of space in between rows: top row has bottoms lined up; bottom row has tops lined up
STEP 1: Set up your image files in a publicly shared folder in your drive. NEW (not in the video below): Transfer ownership of the folder to Ms. Knudsen. Why? Because district settings prevent students from sharing publicly, but teachers are allowed to.
STEP 2: Set up your website using New Google Sites.
STEP 3: Add text to your site.
STEP 4: OPTIONAL: Add links so viewers can zoom in on your images. To make this work, you will need to go back to your Drive Folder (step 1) and change the share settings to "anyone can view" for each individual image.
STEP 5: Publish your website and NEW (not in the video below): Transfer ownership to Ms. Knudsen. Why? Because district settings prevent students from publishing public websites, but teachers are allowed to.
