How to Get Started With Sora?

Access through Google or download the app on your phone.
Find Castro Valley Unified twice, click through to the Follett login.
Log in using your school e-mail and password.
Browse until you find an audiobook or e-book you like.
Open that title, and click Borrow.
Read or listen away!

(If you close the app and want to get back to the book, click on My Shelf at the bottom and it will show you the books you've borrowed)

PRO TIP FOR MORE BOOKS:

Click on the Hamburger menu on the right and add your public library so you can have access to even more e-books and audiobooks!

We all have access to Alameda County Library's books as well. Checking out books this way is just a tad bit trickier, but luckily Mr. Logan walks you through how to do that here!

Loan Periods:

E-books and audiobooks from CVHS: checked out to you for 14 days

E-books and audiobooks from Alameda County: checked out to you for 21 days

Need More Time To Finish?
Shelf --> Grey Box with Days Left --> Renew
You'll get the title for another 14 days if no one else has a hold on it!

Keep Track Of Books You Might Want To Check Out Later with Lists

Click on the Book you like --> Add to List --> Create New List
Check your list by going to Shelf --> Lists

Book or Audiobook Missing That You Want Us To Buy?
Fill out this New Book Requests form, so I can see if I can add it to the shopping list!
