The Wellness Center works alongside trusted clinicians, health providers, and community organizations to expand the care and resources available to CVHS students and families. Meet some of the people and partners who make that possible.
Associate Therapist
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working under the supervision of licensed providers in the Wellness Center. I know how hard it can feel to deal with stress, anxiety, or the pressure to fit in. Having faced my own struggles with bullying and self-acceptance, I care deeply about helping teens feel seen, supported, and understood.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for many years with children as a physical therapist, where I learned that true healing involves both the body and the mind. Now, I help teens with challenges like relationships, school stress, anxiety, depression, and life changes.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, being by the ocean, spending time with family and friends, and studying Italian.
IWAY2 is a collaboration between the Public Health Institute (PHI) and Korean Community Center of the East Bay (KCCEB). We aim to provide and increase access to effective trauma-informed care and prevention services for Asian children and families in Alameda County. Through a MOU with CVUSD, IWAY2 provide individual therapy services for API students on Mondays, and run a Healing and Empowerment through Art group on Wednesdays.
