Raychel Stanley

I am a trainee at Eden Counseling Services. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University where I was also a student athlete. Additionally, I obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from California Baptist University. Currently, I am doctoral student at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, Ca.

Through sports and performance, I have been exposed to working with a plethora of individuals differing in race, gender, age, etc. I have learned to tailor my approach to meet the needs of each person I work with. Additionally, I had the opportunity to create a curriculum for former high school and college student athletes to help work with them on emotional regulation, positive coping mechanisms, and more! I have worked with the youth through sports camps and practices, after camp extended hours, and I am currently running a Social Skills group for incoming 6th graders!

I look forward to learning more about and helping your children in the best ways I can! Whether it's in an individual or group setting, I hope to provide a safe space that will allow your children to grow and feel empowered to communicate their emotions effectively.
