In this course, we focus on American literary works which serve as springboards for meaningful discussions, various forms of writing, artistic expression, and presentations. Through our analyses, interpretations, discussions, questions, additional readings, and intellectual curiosity, we will seek the author’s purpose in the works we read. Through evaluation of the purpose of literary works, we will discover and discuss how it relates to our experiences.
