Students may ask their teacher to take a Wellness Break when they need a few minutes to reset. Wellness Breaks are 10-minute visits to the Wellness Center where students can identify their feelings, practice self-regulation strategies, and build healthy coping skills. Upon arrival, students will check in with our Wellness Center staff and choose from a variety of wellness stations designed to support their needs.
The goal of a Wellness Break is to provide a supportive, low-pressure space where students can regulate their emotions, return to learning feeling more prepared, and, when appropriate, be connected with additional support.
Would you (student) like to check in with a Wellness Center staff? Letting faculty and staff know where your emotions are today can help you get the support you may need. Check-ins may be about emotions, academics, friendships, family, health, etc.

**If you need immediate safety support, please go to the Student Services. We care about you!**
COST serves as a confidential space for a multidisciplinary team of school support staff to collaborate about ways to best support our students. Referrals may be for a student who is struggling in academics, with behavior, attendance, and social emotional needs. This is meant for students in need of more long term interventions and support.
