Welcome to Canyon!  I'm excited to work with every single one of you and your families this year!  

This will be my tenth year teaching 6th grade. Before coming to Canyon, I taught 4th and 5th grades for 15 years in Daly City, so I know how it feels to transition to middle school!  We're in this together!  

At home, my husband and I have two school-aged children. Our daughter is in 8th grade and our son is a junior in high school. We all love to read, listen to music, watch movies, and spend time with friends and family. I love to learn new things, especially from my students, so I'm looking forward to growing our brains this year!

Parents and guardians, please feel free to reach out to me because I believe that a good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort among families, students, and teachers. Communication is very important to me so please email when you have any questions or concerns to share. You may also schedule an appointment for a phone or video conference. I look forward to the work and growth we will all accomplish together this year!
