Show from three Angles Front, Top Side
Speed - We need it to do the sorting as fast as possible
Accuracy - we want to make sure that everything is going where it is supposed to go 100% of the time.
Easy of construction- we want a design that can be easily changed while we're working on it, because there will be many kinks we'll have to work out
Build the original plan using vex pieces; our original plan had two motors and would allow the arm to rotate on the x-axis and the y-axis.
Make any modifications that need to be made.
Code the prototype
test if the design is up to par
make any changes that need to be made
work on getting it manufactured
Plan on only using a vex kit for now, but in future we'd like to prototype with machined metal components
We wanted to use bevel gears to create the rotation on the x- and y- axis, but we did not have any in our vex kit. This means that it would be very difficult to get the rotation. We changed it, so there are two levels of platforms
