I am loving my 8th year at Cutten and my first year as a 5th grade teacher! Before I became a full time teacher, I worked in environmental education and summer camps, so I bring a lot of influences from those past adventures to our classroom. I love being outdoors and being active (running, biking, doing yoga, hiking), but I also love sitting down with a good book and practicing my violin. My partner, Mr. Bowman, teaches 5th grade at Trinidad; we share a lot of teaching tips and ideas for making our classes the most effective and fun. We also love road trips, especially through California and to National Parks.
