Biography

Laura Paterson is the Founder and Owner of Customer First Marketing. She has over 20 years of subscription and customer data experience working for a number of large magazine publishers before setting up Customer First Marketing in 2018.

Whilst at Dennis Publishing she helped The Week grow to over 154,000 subscribers, achieving 37 period on period ABC increases.

At Motorsport Network she converted a 15% year on year print decline into less than 5% year on year, through better targeting and retention activities.

Laura's ethos is to place the customer at the heart of a business; finding, nurturing and renewing customers through recurring payment initiatives and customer engagement programs. She believes that an organisation which places their customer data at the heart of the business will be the one that succeeds in today's business climate.

She has successfully helped a variety of businesses that utilise a recurring revenue model both in the B2C and B2B sectors.
