READING BUDDIES

Reading Buddies meet in the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays at recess, from 10:00-10:20 am. The Reading Buddies program pairs Rockhopper students with Kindergarten students who are still learning to read.

Reading Buddies is a volunteer program for older Portal students who enjoy helping others. Each session lasts 10 weeks. Buddies meet in the library twice a week over recess. Mrs Lim selects books to be read at first, but buddies can request book titles of their choice too! If you would like to volunteer for Reading Buddies, please talk to Mrs. Lim.
