Welcome

Hello! My name is Brooke Jacks and I'm a Special Education teacher here at Kennedy Middle School in the Therapeutic Special Day Class (TSDC) Program.

I have always had a particular interest in teaching those with mild to moderate learning and emotional disorders. Currently, I provide instruction and planning through a multi-disciplinary approach to students who are experiencing emotional behaviors that impede their learning.

This year marks my 10th year in Special Education. I have a B.A. in Media Arts from the University of Arizona, A Special Education teaching credential and an M.A. in Special Education from Notre Dame de Namur.

I'm a native to the Bay Area and Mom to 3 amazing kids, (2 of which are also in the CUSD district!)

In my free time, I like to travel with my family, play at the beach in Capitola or Donner Lake, or ski in the mountains of Lake Tahoe.
